Left parties to take out protest rally tomorrow

GUNTUR: The CPI(M) CPI, and their frontal organizations have resolved to intensify the agitation against the increase in prices of cooking gas and diesel by organising a protest demonstration across the State on June 29. A rally will be taken out from Sri Venkateswara Vignana Mandiram to Lodge Centre, where it will culminate in a public meeting.

At a joint meeting held at the CPI office here on Monday, they demanded rollback of the prices and vowed to continue their agitation till the Government reduces the prices.

CPI(M) and CPI district secretaries D. Rama Devi and Muppalla Nageswara Rao and representatives of the CPI (ML), CPI (ML) New Democracy, Viplava Karmika Sangham and MCPI took part in the meeting.
