NEW DELHI: Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences here on Monday and met the minor Dalit girl from the Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh beaten up by two teenagers and stabbed in the eyes when she resisted their rape attempt. “Rahul Gandhi visited the Dalit girl and her family and enquired about her treatment. He also spoke to the team of doctors attending to the girl and asked about the status of her health. Mr. Gandhi, who came around noon, spent about 20 minutes with the family and the doctors,” said AIIMS spokesperson Dr. Y.K. Gupta. The girl was admitted to the Dr. R.P.
