Thiruvananthapuram
Thiruvananthapuram: The Russian Cultural Centre, in association with the Cultural Department of the Russian Embassy in New Delhi and the Moscow-based foundation, Russkiy Mir, will conduct a quiz competition for Plus-Two and college students on the subject ‘History of space science technology and Russia's role in the development of space science'. The quiz competition is conducted as part of the ongoing festival to mark the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's space flight. Students between the age of 15 and 22 can represent their institutions to participate in the competition. Two students can represent each Plus-Two school or college. Five teams will be selected from the preliminary round that will be held on July 9. The final will be held on July 16 at the Russian Cultural Centre.
