CRPF DIG assumes office

T.Sekar
COIMBATORE: T. Sekar, a 1986 batch officer, assumed office as the Deputy Inspector General of the Central Training College II of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Thoppampatti on Monday. He replaces K.K. Sivaprasad who has been promoted as Inspector General of Police.
Mr. Sekar had served in Special Protection Group in New Delhi for nine years. He was the Commandant of the unified headquarters in Jammu and Kashmir and North East India. He is also the recipient of the commendation letter from the Prime Minister and Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
