NEW DELHI: Delhi Transport Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely on Monday flagged off the Delhi Transport Corporation's West Mudrika Service from Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology at Sector-3 in Dwarka. West Delhi MP Mahabal Mishra, area MLA Somesh Shokeen and DTC Chairman Naresh Kumar were among those present on the occasion. Mr. Lovely said the new service would provide a comfortable journey and better connectivity to West Delhi passengers. Initially the service would be started with 20 buses but the frequency could be increased. The buses on this route would cover a distance of 35 km in a round trip in approximately 120 minutes. The service would also act as a “feeder” to the Delhi Metro as it would cover 13 Metro stations across 12 Delhi Assembly segments. Both AC and non-AC low floor buses would be operated in both the directions on the circular West Mudrika Service. The service would cover all sectors of Dwarka Sub City and would ply via DPS Matiala, Dwarka Sector 3/4, Dwarka Sector 13/3, Dwarka Sec.14 (Police Post), Netaji Subhash Institute, Dwarka More Metro Station, Nawada, Uttam Nagar, Janakpuri District Centre, Tilak Nagar, Subhash Nagar More, Raja Garden, Ramesh Nagar, Moti Nagar, Shadipur Depot, Naraina Depot, Loha Mandi, Naraina Vihar, Ring Road, Maya Puri Depot, Metal Forging, Police Station Mayapuri, Lajwanti Garden, Janakpuri D-Block, Sagarpur, Pankha Road, Dabri More, Nallah Road, Dashrath Puri, Dwarka Sector 1/2, Dwarka Sector 2/6 and Dwarka Depot-2.
