Chennai: V. Darshan won the Madras Gymkhana Club 125th year singles golf tournament with a score of 69 Gross, here on Saturday.

The results (125th year singles tournament): Open: 1. V. Darshan (69 Gross), 2. Nikhil Cherian (75 Gross). Gold (Handicap 0-9): 1. Siddanth Pai (69 Net), 2. K.V. Balachander (71 Net). Silver (Handicap 10-18): 1. Abhay Doshi (67 Net), 2. Jai Ganesh (68 Net). Bronze (Handicap 19-27): 1. G. Chandrasekar (71 Net), 2. V. Purushothaman (72 Net). Senior (Over 55): 1. K. Srinivasan (73 Net).

Calcutta medal tournament: Gold (Handicap 0-12): 1. Sanjay Kumar (38 points), 2. C.V. Yudvir (37 points). Silver (Handicap 13-24): 1. Nirav Patel (43 points), 2. B.S. Prasad (42 points).

June monthly medal tournament: Open: 1. Yudvir (71 Gross), 2. Chummar Varghese (74 Gross). Gold (Handicap 0-9): 1. D. Nagaraj (73 Net, better back nine), 2. Nikhil Cherian (73 Net).
