Sri Jagadguru Chandrasekaranathaswamiji Institute of Technology (SJCIT), Chickballapur was established in the year October 1986 under the aegis of Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust ® under the divine leadership and blessings of his holiness Padma bhushan Sri Sri Sri. Dr. Balagangahadaranatha Mahaswamiji.

The Institute is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and approved by AICTE, New Delhi, NBA accredited and ISO 9001-2008 certified.

The Institute provides high-quality technical and management education for rural and urban regardless of background. The institute is celebrating its silver jubilee this year in grandeur. The institute ranked as one of the best among the South Zone colleges in Karnataka. It allows high levels of customization through an extensive choice of electives, and it emphasizes practical business experience through real-life consulting projects. Institute is continuously getting ranks from engineering and management disciplines.

This year we bagged three ranks and stood best among many. Mr.Manjunath. A.N secured second Rank and two Gold Medals i.e. His holiness Late Dr. Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamigalu of Suttur Mutt Gold Medal and Jain University Gold Medal awarded to him for having secured highest marks in Electronics & Communicaiton Engg and among the Students of the Engienering Colleges affiliated to VTU, Belgaum in Electronic and Communication Engineering. Mr.Chaitanya G has secured Shri Gopal Jinagouda Gold Medal for having highest marks in the subject Material Science and Metallurgy and Mrs.Archana K has secured First rank in M.Tech., Digital communication and Networkiurg. The Institute focused approach is to career development, campus placements, linking with global recruiters and close relationships with our alumni network around the world.
