Police quarters inaugurated

TIRUPATTUR: Inspector-General of Police (North Zone) C. Sylendra Babu on Tuesday inaugurated a newly-constructed police quarters at Jolarpet. He reviewed law and order situation in the Tirupattur sub-division and inspected various police stations in the sub-division.

According to officials, the facility consists of 40 quarters - an Inspector quarters, three Sub-Inspector quarters and 36 quarters for other ranks. The police quarters has come up at a cost of Rs. 1.71 crore. Mr. Babu said the visit was primarily to review the crime situation in Tirupattur and action to be taken.
