Sahil in full flow

Bangalore: Sahil Sipani enjoyed a fine day at the Canara Union courts here on Tuesday, winning a total of three titles as the W. Suresh Kumar memorial State-ranking badminton tournament concluded. Sipani defeated B.R. Sankeerth 21-15, 21-17 in the final for the under-17 boys' singles crown, before teaming up with him to clinch the doubles title.

The pair, also having bagged the under-15 doubles' championship earlier, overcame Harshith Agarwal and Pradyumna Kulkarni 21-14, 21-17.

Boys: U-13: Singles: B.M. Rahul Bharadwaj bt Rohan Kamat 21-9, 21-7; Doubles: R. Abishek & S. Vignesh bt Abi Amudhan & B.M. Rahul Bharadwaj 21-23, 21-18, 21-19.

U-15: Singles: Daniel S. Farid bt Sahil Sipani 21-19, 21-15; Doubles: Sahil Sipani & B.R. Sankeerth bt Daniel S. Farid & Likith A. Gowda 21-11, 21-14.

U-17: Singles: Sahil Sipani bt B.R. Sankeerth 21-15, 21-17; Doubles: Sahil Sipani & B.R. Sankeerth bt Harshith Agarwal & Pradyumna Kulkarni 21-14, 21-17.

Girls: U-13: Singles: Apeksha Nayak bt Archana Pai 21-16, 15-21, 22-20.

U-15: Singles: Mahima Aggarwal bt Ashwini Bhat 21-14, 21-18.
