Atit eases past Kuriakose

KOCHI: Defending champion Atit B. Shah crushed Kottayam YMCA's Jease Kuriakose 391-190 and marched into the semifinals of the 52nd Kerala State senior billiards championship at the Regional Sports Centre here on Tuesday.

Atit, the top seed from host RSC, had entered the snooker semifinal earlier.

Meanwhile, RSC's Abraham Francis overcame a first-frame loss to move into the junior boys' snooker semifinal defeating Kottayam YMCA's Abraham John 2-1.
