Tata Motors moves Supreme Court

NEW DELHI: Tata Motors approached the Supreme Court on Tuesday against the Calcutta High Court's order rejecting its plea to restrain the West Bengal government from distributing land allotted to it for its small car factory to farmers at Singur. The petition was mentioned before a vacation Bench of Justices P. Sathasivam and A.K. Patnaik, which posted the matter for hearing for Wednesday.
