Telangana student JAC leaders stage dharna

KARIMNAGAR: The Telangana student JAC leaders staged a massive dharna in front of Karimnagar Member of Parliament Ponnam Prabhakar's residence in Karimnagar on Tuesday demanding that recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector be postponed till the government deletes the F (14) clause of the Presidential order to include Hyderabad in the sixth zone and not treat it as a free zone.

The Telangana student JAC leaders led by E. Ravinder Reddy, Tirupathi Naik, Siddam Venu and others participated in the dharna demanding the resignation of the Karimnagar MP.

They demanded that the MP should ensure that government deletes F(14) or else he should tender his resignation and strive for the formation of a separate Telangana.

Warning

They warned the government of serious consequences if it goes ahead with the SI requirement without deleting F (14) clause.
