Why should the Kadapa MP be spared, wonders polit bureau member Y. Ramakrishnudu
HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam polit bureau member, Y. Ramakrishnudu, has demanded inquiry by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into “amassing of wealth” by Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy.
Scams
Addressing a press conference, Mr. Ramakrishnudu said when the Centre had constituted inquiries into scams like allotment of 2G spectrum and Commonwealth Games, there was no reason why it should spare the MP.
Is it because Mr. Reddy's father, former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy had close links with the top leaders of the Congress?”
To a question, he said there was no change in party's stand on deletion of Clause F(14) of the Presidential Order as a resolution was adopted unanimously in the Assembly.
Judicial probe
At another press conference, Telugu Desam Party general secretary, Varla Ramaiah, demanded judicial inquiry by a sitting judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court into the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust affairs in view of the doubts prevailing over transfer of money from Prashanthi Nilayam and contradictory versions given by the members.
