MDMK adds fuel to flames over price hike

TIRUCHI: Cadre of Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam led by Malarmannan, Tiruchi urban district secretary, staged a demonstration near the railway junction here on Tuesday condemning the centre for increasing the prices of petrol, diesel, LPG and kerosene which affected the common people. The agitation was part of the state-wide demonstrations announced by the party. Members urged the Centre to withdraw the price hike.
