P. Kesavadev foundation set up

Thiruvananthapuram: A national foundation in the name of P. Kesavadev has been set up to perpetuate the memory of the novelist, playwright, trade union leader, and social activist.

George Onakkoor, writer, is the president of the foundation, and Jyothidev Kesavadev its general secretary.

The foundation will institute an annual literary award and scholarships, establish a cultural centre, provide research facilities, and organise literary camps and lectures, a pressnote issued here said.
