TAMBARAM: A newborn male baby was found dead in Nedunkundram, near here, on Tuesday morning.
The Peerkankaranai police, who are investigating, said Revathi (20) and Dhanasekaran (25), working in a private firm, got married two years ago. Revathi was living with her husband's family on Bhajanai Koil Street, Nedunkundram.
She gave birth to a healthy male child at the Nandivaram – Guduvanchery Primary Health Centre six days ago. On Tuesday morning, the baby was found dead, floating in a water tub inside the house.
Police said they visited the spot on getting information. A year ago, Revathi gave birth to a girl child, which was found dead under similar mysterious circumstances 16 days later. Investigations are on, police said.
