Rare breed dog stolen

PUDUCHERRY: The Muthialpet police received a complaint from an Indian-born French national that her dog, a rare breed named British Border Collie, was stolen from her house on Wednesday.

According to Superintendent of Police (North) N.T. Sivadasan, the dog went missing in the afternoon after it was left without a leash by the owner, Parimala Baste, near the sit-out in her house. He said a case has been registered and the police were trying to trace the dog.
