Tumkur: Autorickshaw drivers launched a 24-hour strike opposing city bus services in Tumkur and against the rise in petrol and diesel prices on Wednesday. The strike caused inconvenience to commuters. More than 1,000 drivers took out a protest rally from the Government Junior College Ground to the Deputy Commissioner's office here. The strike will end at 6 a.m. on Thursday. Addressing the rally, president of the Zilla Auto Chalakara Kalyana Janti Kriya Samiti V.
