The Government of India have set up a committee to advise the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on all matters of policy regarding the Film Institute of India, Poona. The Minister of Information and Broadcasting will be chairman of the committee. Regular courses of three years and two years' duration will start in the Institute next month, covering film direction, script writing, motion picture photography, sound recording and sound engineering and film editing.
