VIJAYAWADA: Kurnool District Cricket Association women's team defeated KDCA Reds by 52 runs at Kurnool on Wednesday.
KDCA made 257 for six in 50 overs with Andhra State player B.V. Satyavani slamming 102 in 146 balls. U.M.S. Girinath's 120 went in vain as KDCA Reds was bundled out for 205 in 47.5 overs.
The scores: KDCA Women's XI 257 for six in 50 overs (B.V. Satyavani 102, G. Chandra Lekha 62, S. Malik three for 36) bt KDCA Reds 205 in 47.1 overs (U.M.S. Girinath 120, B. Vani four for 29) .
Over 100 athletes representing nine divisions of Railway Protection Force in South Central Railway will take part in the four -day athletic meet in both track and field events at Railway Mini Stadium on June 30 to July 3.
