HYDERABAD: Somnath Ghosh of South Central Railway and Nikhat Banu of Gujarathi Seva Mandal will be the top seeds in the men's and women's categories respectively in the 13th annual St. Paul's Table Tennis Academy's State-ranking tournament which is to begin here from June 30. Addressing the media here on Wednesday, Mr. Ibrahim Khan of SPTTA said that this year the tournament has attracted a record number of 996 entries from all over Andhra Pradesh. “We are thrilled to see the amazing response that we have received from different schools throughout the state,” he said. The tournament will be held over four days in knockout format on six tables at the St. Pauls High School premises. The main sponsor is M/s. KS Raymond shop, Malakpet, and there are several co-sponsors. Following are the seeds in the men's and women's sections: Men: 1.Somnath Ghosh (SCR). 2. P. Vighney Reddy (SPTTA). 3. P. Sanjeev Reddy (Z-Axis). 4. T. Arundhar (SCR). Women: 1. Nikhat Banu (GSM). 2. Akshi Sancheti (GSM). 3. Sk. Saira Banu (Vja). 4. Ch. Praneetha (Vja).
