THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Resolute batting in the second innings enabled Pankajakasturi earn a draw against Zeroes CC in the TDCA ‘A' division cricket league here on Wednesday. After conceding a first innings lead of 80, Pankajakasturi aided by half-centuries from Souravlal (92), Bharath Suya (82) and A.Anez (51 not out) scored 304 for seven in the second innings. Earlier, Nandu Narayan (three for 40) and Anez (three for 45) restricted Zeroes' first innings to 243 in 55.4 overs. The scores: Pankajakasturi 163 & 304 for seven in 67 overs (Souravlal 92, Bharath Surya 82, A.Anez 51 no) drew with Zeroes 243 in 55.4 overs (V.Arun 70, Sreejith 32, Nandu Narayan three for 40, Anez three for 45). ‘B' division: Little Masters 204 in 37.1 overs (S. Manu 56, Umar-ul-Farooq 50, Shafeek five for 62) bt IOB 179 in 40.5 overs (Sumesh 56, Praveen 32, S.Manu five for 42). ‘C' division: Packers CC 178 in 35.1 overs (Abhilash Nath 77, V.S.Mahesh five for 51) bt Murugan CC ‘B' 171 for eight in 45 overs .
