ACA polls: scrutiny put off

VIJAYAWADA: The scrutiny of the nominations filed by the members of the Andhra Cricket Association for the elections to be held on June 29 has been postponed to July 4.

According to sources from Andhra Cricket Association, the Commissioner of Police Amit Garg, who is the election officer for the polls, had asked the members to submit the proof from the Department of Registrar of Societies that gives them the eligibility to contest the elections.

Every year both district associations and the affiliated clubs need to furnish their records and get a certificate from the Registrar of Societies department.
