NIZAMABAD: The Second Additional District Judge N. Sankaraiah, on Wednesday, sentenced Gunje Gangadhar of Alur village in Armoor mandal to life imprisonment and imposed a penalty of Rs. 500 for murdering an old woman, Rajavva, at Husnabad galli of Armoor town on the intervening night of February 19 and 20. The then SI of Police T. Srinivas Reddy, under the supervision of Circle Inspector Baswa Reddy and his successor Ch. Kushalkar, investigated the case and filed a charge-sheet in the court.
