NIZAMABAD: Andhra Bank opened its 27th bank branch at Vinayak Nagar here on Wednesday. Bank Deputy General Manager K. Srinivas Rao inaugurated the branch amidst applause from the bank staff and customers. Deputy GM said this was the 54th branch in the zone comprising of Nizamabad and Medak and three more branches one each at Madnur, Narayankhed and Patancheruvu will open soon. The business in the zone had grown by Rs. 3500 crores in the current year.
