NALGONDA: The Miryalaguda police on Wednesday arrested and sent to remand four ‘rowdy' elements for allegedly trying to settle land disputes with a motive to extort money. While three persons, Moulana, Md. Abid and, Sriramulu belong to Miryalaguda, Rasheed is a resident of Nalgonda. The main accused, Bari, of Nalgonda is absconding. 13 injured Thirteen passengers in a bus from Nalgonda to Alair were injured when the vehicle hit a lorry from behind at Vattimarthi village in Chityal police limits on Wednesday. The mishap occurred when the driver failed to apply brakes on time. One of the injured was admitted to the Government Hospital at Nakrekal, while the others were treated as out-patients. Infant abandoned A day-old girl infant, with four fingers on one of her hands, was found abandoned at the Dindi bus-stand by the ICDS staff on Wednesday morning. The staff, who is taking care of the baby for now, lodged a complaint with the Dindi police, who started investigations.
