New Delhi: Ferro Alloys Corporation (Facor) has declared a lockout at its charge chrome plant at Randia in Orissa with effect from Wednesday following workmen unrest. “Ferro Alloys Corporation has declared a lock out in charge Chrome Plant with effect from 7 am on Wednesday, consequent to resorting to unlawful activities by the workmen of the company,” it said in a release communique to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). “As the conditions prevailing in the plant were not conducive and apprehending risk to the property of the company, the management has declared lock out,” it said in the release.
