Comedia Dell'Arte, a three-day series, begins on July 8

‘Themes are based on current issues like politics, dating'


Bangalore: All those interested in stand-up comedy can check out Comedia Dell'Arte, a three-day series beginning on July 8 here.

The opening show features comedians Sanjay Manaktala, Anuvab Pal, first Indian playwright in the Dramatists Guild of America, and Kai Humphries Geordie, a comedian from Newcastle, U.K.

The first show will be at Whitefield, the next at Alliance Francaise de Bangalore on Thimmaiah Road on July 9, and the last at the Manchester United Restaurant Bar at Koramangala on July 10.

“The themes are based on the current issues like relationships, politics, dating and more. There are other artistes contracted to perform for the rest of the months till December,” said Ajith Saldanha, impresario, told presspersons here on Wednesday.
