CII initiative on quality in education

VIJAYAWADA: Confederation of Indian Industry's constant endeavour has been to help industry build a competitive India. Realising the need for improving a key input to an industry such as human resource, CII has initiated imparting quality education at the grass-roots level, beginning from schools.

The CII Andhra Pradesh along with CII's Centre of Excellence, CII Institute of Quality (CII-IQ) Bangalore will organise a one-day Education Excellence Programme for School Leadership on Thursday at Andhra Loyola College for the administrators, principals, headmasters, HoDs, senior teachers of a school who want to embark on the ‘Quality Journey'.

In order to develop capable, ‘thinking' youth, role of leadership in creating a conducive environment was gaining immense credence, said a college release.  The delegates will be taken through fundamentals of quality, principles of TQM, TQM in education, educational processes and integrating processes for excellence.
