Spot admission for distance education courses on July 2, 3

TIRUCHI: The Centre for Distance Education, Bharathidasan University, has announced spot admission through its study centres for undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programmes on July 2 and 3, for 2011-12.

According to a press release, eligible candidates, upon admission for the programmes under semester and non-semester patterns, will be provided with study materials on the spot.

Candidates could also immediately obtain their identity card by submitting a stamp size photo, the release said, adding that a provision for re-admission and transfer admission has been made for those who had to pursue their studies after discontinuing their higher education due to poor economic conditions.
