Assistance for BPL women

KOCHI: Thirteen women hailing from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families of Kochi will get their appointment letters as trained Panchakarma therapists on Thursday.

Training

The women were selected and trained as part of a livelihood improvement scheme implemented by the Kerala State Sustainable Urban Development Programme and the Kochi Corporation. The programme was supported by Dhanwanthary Vaidyasala.

The women were trained in personality development, communication skills, spoken English and hospital management. Mayor Tony Chammany will distribute the appointment letters at a function to be held at corporation council hall.
