Mohammed John sworn in

CHENNAI: A. Mohammed John, Member of Legislative Assembly representing the Ranipet constituency in Vellore district, was on Wednesday sworn in Minister.

At a brief function at Raj Bhavan, Governor Surjit Singh Barnala administered the oath of office and allegiance and oath of secrecy.

He has been given the subjects of Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes, Denotified Communities, Overseas Indians, Refugees and Evacuees and Minorities, including Wakf.

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and Speaker D. Jayakumar were among those present.
