‘Chiru eligible to become Chief Minister'

SANGAREDDY: A day after stating that people wanted to see him as Chief Minister, actor-turned politician Chiranjeevi who has merged his Praja Rajyam with the Congress, has a reason to smile. The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Botcha Satyanarayana on Wednesday said Mr. Chiranjeevi is eligible to become Chief Minister. He, however, hastened to add that it is the party high command which has to decide the issue.
The PCC chief made this statement at Patancheru when the media drew his attention to the comments made by Chiranjeevi the other day that people wanted him to see as a Chief Minister in real-life instead of reel-life.
