Collector orders rehabilitation

VISAKHAPATNAM: District Collector Lav Agarwal has initiated measures to rehabilitate the four children who were deprived of parental care following the murder of their mother and their father being sent to jail.

Their father was sent to jail for allegedly murdering their mother.

They were being reportedly harassed by some persons who had lent money to their father and the latter failed to repay it.

The children Vadapalli Veerraju, 12, Kotesh, 10, Prameela, 9, and Daveed, 7, were produced before the Collector on Wednesday.

He told them that there was no cause for worry and assured police protection.

He directed Additional Joint Collector S. Satynarayana to arrange for education, boarding, and lodging facilities for the children.
