New trains will start operations from July

CHENNAI: The following trains announced in the Railway Budget 2011-12 will start operations in July.

T.No.16612 Coimbatore – Tuticorin Link Express will leave Coimbatore Jn. at 8.30 p.m. and reach Tuticorin at 6.10 a.m. the next day.

T.No.16611 Tuticorin – Coimbatore Link Express will leave Tuticorin at 9.30 p.m. and arrive Coimbatore Jn. at 7.30 a.m. the next day. These trains will be introduced with effect from July 1 from Coimbatore and from July 2 from Tuticorin.

T.No.22601 Chennai Central – Sai Nagar Shirdi Superfast Express will leave Chennai Central at 10.10 a.m. on Wednesdays and arrive Sai Nagar Shirdi at 11.30 a.m. on Thursdays.

T.No.22602 Sai Nagar Shirdi – Chennai Central Express will leave Sai Nagar Shirdi at 8.25 a.m. on Fridays and arrive Chennai Central at 9.40 a.m. on Saturdays.

These trains will be introduced w.e.f. July 6 from Chennai Central and from Sai Nagar Shirdi from July 8. T.No.22682 Chennai Central – Mysore Superfast Express will leave Chennai Central at 11.30 p.m. on Thursdays and arrive Mysore at 8.35 a.m. on Fridays.

T.No.22681 Mysore – Chennai Central Express wil leave Mysore at 8.10 p.m. on Wednesdays and arrive Chennai Central at 5.15 a.m. on Thursdays. These trains will be introduced from July 7 from Chennai Central and from Mysore from July 6.

T.No.56146 Coimbatore – Mettupalayam Passenger (except Sundays) will leave Coimbatore at 9.30 a.m. and arrive Mettupalayam at 10.20 a.m.

T.No.56147 Mettupalayam – Coimbatore Passenger will leave Mettupalayam at 10.40 a.m. and arrive Coimbatore at 11.30 a.m. T.No.56148 Coimbatore – Mettupalayam Passenger will leave Coimbatore at noon and arrive Mettupalayam at 12.50 p.m. T.No.56149 Mettupalayam – Coimbatore Passenger will leave Mettupalayam at 1.10 p.m. and arrive Coimbatore at 2 p.m.

T.No.56150 Coimbatore – Mettupalayam Passenger will leave Coimbatore at 3 p.m. and arrive Mettupalayam at 3.50 p.m. T.No.56151 Mettupalayam – Coimbatore Passenger will leave Mettupalayam at 4.20 p.m. and arrive Coimbatore at 5.10 p.m.

Among trains whose frequency has been increased is T.No.76835/76836 Tiruchi – Karur – Tiruchi passengers (from six days a week to daily from July 3), T.No.56607/56608 shoranur – Ernakulam – Shoranur Passengers (from six days a week to daily from July 3). T.No.56318/56317 Nagercoil – Thiruvananthapuram – Nagercoil Passengers will be extended to Kochuveli.
