MOHAMMED KUTTY, popularly known as Mammootty, is an outstanding actor. The book is a study on the multifaceted actor’s personality. There are eight sections commencing with the editor’s introduction and concluding with a brief biography sans his date of birth. Most of them are hyperbolic adulations approximating to idolatry. Cinema is the art of the director and the contribution by the directors, especially Adoor Gopalakrishnan and K.G. George, are commendable.

The section on analysis of characters is not objective and goes to the extent of stating that Mammootty is beyond directors. The pictures used in the volume leave a lot to be desired.
