SOME EXPERIENCES of a police investigating officer run like detective stories in this book; the only difference is that the readers find the names of persons, places and the description of situations not fictitious but real. The narration is also natural and simple without any exaggeration. The officer, who is also the author, sticks fast to his aim that investigation is for transformation of individual and society. “Fourth murder”, the opening story, reveals how an investigating police officer can gather and rebuild a criminal case which was almost a dead case over a long period. He gives life to many such cases after collecting relevant evidence from all available sources. The cases give a lot of details about his professional experience. Therefore, fresh entrants to the profession may take this book as a guide.
Congratulations to the author for his narration of details about his experiences in an attractive style. The word “nisyabda” is mistaken for “nissabda”, which may be corrected in the next edition.
