SCOREBOARD ABBREVATION


The Business Line Scoreboard presents highlights of the financial and market performance of a large selection of listed companies.

The BL Scoreboard lists key parameters of financial performance,sales operating profit margin, net profit, earlings per share and book value.

The latest available market price is given alongside, The earnings are related to the current market price as a factor of one to the other (the P/E multiple)

Returns to the shareholders on an annual basis are computed as the variation in the market price over 52 weeks, duly adjusted for bonus issues, if any, in the intervening period.

A (*) after equity indicates likely increase in equity capital on conversion of debentures or warrnats and a (*) after period indicates audited results.
