Stargazing

Role with potential

Actor Jeeva has taken the trouble to lose and gain weight and even change his appearance more than once for Thamizh M.A. From the time Raam happened, Jeeva has shown keenness to project a variety of characters. Thamizh M.A. offers him ample scope and the hero is believed to be using it to the optimum. First-time director Ram is supported by an impressive technical crew, comprising composer Yuvan Shanker Raja, lyricist Na. Muthukumar and cinematographer S. R. Kadhir, who has apprenticed under Ramji. That Karunas’ potential goes far beyond the ambit of comedy could be evident as he essays a character role in this film.
