Want some food for thought? Tune in to “Madras Meals” at 1 p.m. INSAT Jockey Chee visits different places of the city every day and shares the lunchtime food and mood of Chennai and captures it on air. A refreshing programme at lunch time, it is interspersed with music.

Aloysious aka Chee, a postgraduate in Electronic media from the Madras University, started his career with hosting “Madras Meals”. He then moved on to hosting “Chee Boom Ba” every Sunday and also the late night show “Gurkha Guru Singh”. He is known for his sense of humour.

BIG 92.7 FM introduces “BIG top 30”, a countdown programme in BIG Vanakkam show hosted by RJ Speed Dheena.

“BIG top 30” will feature the top 30 songs aired the previous week on radio. It is in the format of a countdown. RJ Speed Dheena conducts a small on-air contest and leaves it to the listeners to vote for the number 1 and number 2 songs. Listeners need to call up 044 30890927 or SMS 55454 to register the votes. The song which gets the maximum number of votes is selected as the top song.
