Fighting fit

“The X-Files” star David Duchovny is fighting fit for his big screen return into the unknown. The 47-year-old star says boxing on a daily basis helps keep him trim and stress-free, he would never get into a fist fight because he is not the aggressive type. “I box but that’s a controlled fight,” says Duchovny. “I haven’t been in an uncontrolled fight in a long time. Boxing does keep me in shape but still, it’s hard.” The sci-fi star adds even though he is fighting fit nothing prepared him for working on a movie again. “You can be in shape for physical activity and physical work as an actor, but it’s still hard to stay up all night and shoot. It’s like going on a mission, doing a movie. You’re like, ‘OK, I can get through this’ sometimes.”
