Why I hate.. Raja Hindustani

There are many films, but I can’t remember the names. There was one with Anil Kapoor and Sridevi, where he plays the union leader and she marries him. She had horrendous make-up and her clothes were really bad. It was a really bad film. There was an item number, Ladki Hai Kya, in which there’s an ugly-looking girl wearing a horrendous green dress and bad make-up. The other film, which is also very bad, but went on to win a Filmfare award is Raja Hindustani. The acting was really bad. Karisma Kapoor, her make up and the way she speaks in the film... Ewww... The whole concept of someone marrying a driver is really unrealistic and then he steals the child, runs away and all that drama in the end.

The highlight of the film was the kiss between Karisma and Aamir Khan. That’s the only reason why I watched it — because my friends told me it was the longest kiss in Hindi films. So, I guess that between the first one and this, Raja Hindustani wins hands down.

(as told to sudhish kamath)
