Back to black

Tween dream Ashley Tisdale decided that blondes definitely don’t have more fun after fans kept assuming she had the same unpleasant nature as her High School Musical character. Ashley was so fed up of being mistaken for her role of Sharpay Evans that she took drastic action and dyed her hair back to its original dark colour. “I just kind of wanted to go back to the original. I was blonde for a good amount of years and just wanted to give my hair a rest and do something different to show another side of me that people hadn’t really seen. I kept being mistaken for Sharpay. I’d definitely go back to blonde for a character role if I have to. But I love being brunette.
