Versatility matters


From being a big name on television to making a mark on the silver screen and from acting to direction, it has been one big leap for Abhishek Sanker (he made his debut as an actor in the critically acclaimed Mogamul). Following the success of Kolangal on television, Abhishek plunged into directing Kadhai for Akash Akshai Raj Cine International. So, what’s special about the film? “For one, music director Paul Jacob has come up with some excellent songs, recorded in Hungary. And, after 40 years, Dr. Balamuralikrishna appears as himself in a movie. He performs a unique fusion song, where Carnatic blends with folk.”
