‘Rasigan’ on Kalaignar

‘Rasigan,’ a Sunday morning (11 a.m. to 12 noon) treat for film lovers on Kalaignar TV, touches the 50 mark on July 5.
The accent is on talented fans of actors, singers, and composers selected for the show. Actors from MGR and Sivaji Ganesan to present day heroes have been featured.
The special Ilaiyaraja segment, a hit with viewers, went on for 25 weeks.
Along with the fans, the programme for the most part brings together the artist of the week as well as veterans who admire him, on the podium.
The special show this Sunday will see an assemblage of diehard loyalists of M. S. Viswanathan, who makes an appearance. The composer will interact with the group.
The following week, the focus will be on singer Sirkazhi Govindarajan.
