Symposium on DSP

DIGITAL Signals Processing (DSP) is undoubtedly the hero of the I.T revolution. Be it fax/data modems, mobile communication, audio, speech, image processing, multimedia, industrial motor control and energy monitoring/control, DSP is a common factor.

Technical courses usually contain a large dose of theory, though practical approaches are now becoming available.

Signals & Systems India pvt Ltd., in association with Texas Instruments, the world leader in DSP & Analog, and the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE-UK), is conducting a one-day symposium for engineering students, engineers & R&D establishments on `DSP Emerging Trends & Opportunities (Digital Signal Processing)'. It will be held on January 9 at GRT Grand Days, Chennai. The objective is to explore the latest trends & identify the job opportunities in DSP. For details, email to dsp@sandsindia.com.

The symposium will comprise modules on current trends in DSP Architecture and use of DSP in telecommunication, biometrics and power sector. Growing market requirements and job opportunities for DSP engineers will be covered.

The registration fees for engineering students is Rs. 500 a participant, and for others Rs. 750 each.
