First day in Seniorville

June 13.
Ragging, introductions, reunions are all the ingredients that make up the delicious recipe of the first day at the college, be it junior, degree or university.
The menu will be the same, only the helpings that are served differ.
More for some, less for a few, but a wholesome meal is guaranteed for everyone. Most of the seniors are extremely generous in their helpings, however stingy they are in other matters! They get the juicy junior cake and have it too. So lucky!
If you are wondering that here is one junior cowering at the seniors' might and pouring out all the agonies, you can't be more mistaken. I'm on this side of the Junior town in Seniorville!
Ah, ragging! God save the freshers from it.
It's our day after all! As seniors we, too, had undergone it so why not our juniors is the moot point. Do I sound wicked? Okay, calm down... it's just the euphoria of the moment taking over me for a while.
Ragging is not all that dreadful as people make it out to be, it can be, and is, healthy and harmless fun! Certainly and as a matter of rule, it should be within the limits of decency, otherwise things could get maha serious.
Actually there are certain rules for it.
Rule 1: Never get personal.
Rule 2: Play simple pranks.
Rule 3: Avoid arguments.
Follow them and make it a joyful fare for all. It will develop a long-lasting relationship, after all we all are part of one big student family.
It is on the first day that we meet new friends and if we are lucky we could even meet our school friends like the one I met at my Master's level.
I was the happiest soul on earth at that moment of time.
Everything good or bad has to come to an end and so this day too. And it will, vanquishing all fears and bringing happiness to all! I hope all the freshers would have a wonderful and adventurous first day at college.
