GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade Oct.24. What is common to a student, director, actor, author, politician, musician and a CEO?

If you have guessed it by now, well and good but don't tax your brain too much and get `stressed' because that is what all the above have in common and are trying to overcome it.

Today people throughout the globe have realised the importance of being stress-free. The best way I remain stress-free is by practising Sahaja Yoga, a spiritual yoga given by her holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. It revolves around the concept of the sacred power of Kundalini, which lies dormant in every human being and can be awakened through Sahaja Yoga. There are increased instances of student becoming tensed up and trying to do foolish things to get away from this maddening rush and competition. This is where the spiritual Yoga comes into the picture to save the youth. For those who are net savvy can log on to www.sahajayoga.org and others can visit any Sahaja Yoga ashram in their respective city or post an enquiry through the website. Through this process an inner transformation takes place by which one becomes moral, united, integrated and balanced. Modern management sees stress in two ways namely distress and Eustress. The former is the one which students often experience or for that matter any other professional person. It is better known as executive burnout. But if we are in a position to channel this stress to perform better then it is Eustress.

In top B-Schools like the IIMs, and XLRI, the number and complexity of assignments are huge and often students succumb to stress, but a few of them perform better than otherwise owing to Eustress. What an experience it would be to be completely stress-free but I guess we can start with minimising it.
