It does it again in placement
The Westin College of Hotel Management, Vijayawada, has done it again. This year, the college has invited Bin Eid Administrative Services, Sharjah, UAE, for campus interviews.
On the placement front, 10 students of the present batch of final-year students have been selected in the campus interviews and are placed in hotels like Le Royal Meridien and Hotel Mafraq, both located in Abu Dhabi, says a spokesman of Westin in a press release here.
In last batch, six students were placed in hotels like The Kempinski and Abu Dhabi International Club, a Government of Dubai undertaking, both in Abu Dhabi. A few other hotels are still in the process of absorbing some more students. The remaining students of the batch are placed in various hotel chains like The Taj, ITC Welcome Group, ITC Fortune, Quality Inn, etc.
The Westin proudly claims to be the first hotel management college in the country to have an `International Placement Cell' at Dubai. The college is also in the process of setting up its placement consultancy services -- Westin Career Planner Pvt LTd, in Bangalore for domestic as well as international placements and allied services. It has been two years in a row of the college to achieve international placements and a 100 per cent placement record.
