Come summer, the twin campuses of VR Siddhartha and PVP Siddhartha Engineering Colleges wear a festive look. Representatives of big software companies descend here to hold campus interviews.
Final year students seek to make maximum of these drives while their juniors watch the goings-on with fond hopes of seizing a similar opportunity when their turn comes.
Delighted over the growing placements and opportunities, the Principal of VR Siddhartha Engineering College, V. Vasudeva Rao, says big corporate giants like Cognizant, Wipro, TCS and L&T are planning to conduct campus drives at their colleges. He says with pride that their students will live up to the expectations and grab the best of opportunities.
Interviews on May 16, 17
A major electronics company, Elico Ltd, Hyderabad, is conducting a campus drive at the two colleges on May 16 and 17 to absorb students from CSE, IT, ECE, EIE and EEE branches. A B-Tech graduate from these branches with 60 per cent aggregate is eligible to participate in the drive.
For CSE and IT engineering graduates, a test in general aptitude and their proficiency in C and C++ will be tested. ECE, EIE and EEE graduates should prepare for written test covering general aptitude and their knowledge in their domain subject.
